Plenty Of Fish Commercial
Here's a P.O.F commercial I found on YouTube. I wanted to see how they are advertising their site to non users, and although the commercial is good I kind of struggled with the statement of "finding your other half". Can you actually find your "other half"on an online dating site? I mean there is literally thousands of people online everyday when you sign in. As a female you might receive at least 10 messages each day from different males. It's a bit overwhelming... there really is plenty of fish in the sea. So my question is, how do you choose? Do you meet every single person until you find your "other half" or what if you pick the wrong person? Are we going against the forces of nature by taking things into our own hands? Should we leave it up to fate to bring people together, or should we forget fate and make our own path?
What do you guys think?

ReplyDeleteHow do you choose you ask? Well 1st off, theres gatta be somekinda attraction, maybe its just me? but i myself have to have attaction, then I read about them. They all seem very good, so i msg a few ppl, but the thing is after awhile, they all seem similar, " im a very open person ".... like look on pof, count how many different people have that line, lol I myself probly have that one. Then ppl/somee ppl are a lil different, tell you what they like, and if they r simialar to myself i throw them a msg. Sometimes - no reply? but like you said you get 10+++ msg a day, so yea. thats alot. Thennnn i talk a few msgs then throw my cell numba, cuz its all about txt msg these ddays, then talk threw txt, then meet ppl. Then you see how they are. Ive noticed alot of ppl have fake/extremly old pics :s
Soo online dating is good and bad. I think this project will be good for you to see who reads, who just checks the pics, and you might even find that special someone:)

I completely agree. I think I am going to learn a lot from this experience. I think a lot of it has to do with luck though. I've heard so many different stories from people, some love it, while others hate it. Not sure how I feel about it yet.

mhm. i know, feel the same. I kinda wish a few friends I know would beable to meet ppl threw it, they just cant really talk/chat, but there great ppl. Have you met anyone yet? How about we meet up for a drink/talk? I cant be a bf at the moment tho hahah. Sorry:p Im leaving in 13 days (count down has begun!!)wwwwwwwwwwwwweeei! =)
